About LDC

The Learning and Development Centre (LDC) is instrumental in driving the fourth strategic priority for the Department of Communities' Child Protection and Family Support Division (CPFS): "Building the learning and performance culture across the Department". We offer learning and development programs to Department, non-government community organisations funded and endorsed by CPFS, and foster carers.

As a Registered Training Organisation, LDC can issue nationally recognised qualifications. To deliver learning and development programs we use face-to-face, online, flexible and work-based learning methods. Individuals can be provided with learning and development pathways to suit their personal needs.

Our facilities

We have four facilitation rooms with permanent multimedia projectors in the ceilings and Smart Boards (interactive whiteboards). Facilitation Room 4 is a fully equipped IT training lab containing 20 fully networked computers.
